Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Notifications

A sanitary sewer overflow is any overflow, spill, release, discharge or diversion of untreated or partially treated wastewater from a sanitary sewer system.

Individuals may sign up to receive an email of a public advisory notification of any SSO that may occur from the Hoosac Water Quality District.

The notification will include a description of the discharge, approximate date and time, an estimated volume, if the discharge has ceased, waters and land affected and precautionary measurements to be taken by the public.
